Enrolment terms
These terms apply when a parent or guardian enrols a child in an ActReel Academy class. ActReel Academy is run by Govinda Roser, ABN [ABN]. By completing enrolment you agree to these terms on your child's behalf.
1. Fees and payment
The fee for an 8-week term is $299. Payment is due [at enrolment] to secure a place. A place is not confirmed until payment is received [confirm].
2. Cancelling an enrolment
If you cancel more than 5 working days before the first class, you can choose a refund less a 20% cancellation fee, or a credit note for the full amount.
If you cancel within 5 working days of the first class, you can apply in writing for a credit note for the full amount. Credit notes are valid for 12 months.
Once the term has started, we do not offer a refund or credit for a change of mind.

3. Missed classes
We cannot refund or credit classes your child misses, and we cannot offer make-up classes. Please let us know if your child will be absent.
4. Substitutions
Before the term starts you can transfer the place to another child in the same age group by letting us know in writing. The new family will need to complete enrolment and the filming consent.
5. If we cancel or change a class
If we cancel a term or class, you can choose a full refund, a credit note or a transfer to another session. We may need to change a tutor, venue or class time. If a change is significant we will tell you as early as we can, and if the new arrangement does not suit you we will offer a refund for the classes remaining.
We are not responsible for other costs you incur, such as travel or parking.
6. Behaviour
We want every class to be safe and enjoyable. If a child's behaviour repeatedly disrupts the class or puts others at risk, we will talk with the parent first. In serious cases we may ask the child to leave the course, and we will refund the classes remaining.
7. Drop-off, pick-up and supervision
A parent or authorised adult must sign your child in at drop-off and sign them out at pick-up. We will only release your child to a person listed on the enrolment form. Please arrive on time. We supervise students from the start of class until they are signed out.
8. Health and emergencies
Please tell us on the enrolment form about any medical condition, allergy, medication or additional need your child has, and update us if anything changes. In an emergency we will call an ambulance if needed and contact you straight away. The cost of any ambulance call-out is the family's responsibility.
9. Filming and recordings
Filming is part of every class. Finished films are shown to families at the final class and may be shared through a private link for [seven] days. We do not publish footage or photos of students. A parent or guardian must sign the filming consent below before the term starts.
Families must not post or share class recordings, the private link, or images of other students online.
Scripts and class materials we provide are for use in class only.
10. Privacy
We handle personal information as set out in our privacy policy at www.actreelacademy.com.au/privacy-policy.
11. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that we will provide them with due care and skill. If we fail to meet those guarantees you may be entitled to a remedy, which can include a refund, whatever these terms say about change-of-mind cancellations.

Filming consent form
Filming is part of every ActReel class. Students act in short scenes and films that are recorded during the term. Please read this form and sign it before your child's first class.

What we film and how we use it
We record class exercises, rehearsals and short films during the term. We use this footage to teach your child and to make the films shown at the end of term.
Finished films are shown to families, friends and students in the last 30 minutes of the final class. After that we may share the films with the families of that class through a private link that stays open for [seven] days.
We do not publish footage or photos of students on our website, social media or in promotional material. We delete class footage [number] days after the private link closes.
Your choices

Sharing

Changing your mind
You can withdraw any of these consents at any time by emailing [contact email] or calling [phone]. We will stop filming your child or remove them from the private link as soon as practical. Films already shown at the final class cannot be unshown.
